Zavarim L.

Zavarim L. was Mars's Minister of Space Defence during the Dalek invasion of Mars. He authored the Dalek Defence Drill, a poster instructing citizens on what to do to survive the Daleks, which he personally signed and scrawled "Good luck!" onto. (PROSE: What To Do If A Dalek Attacks You!)

- What To Do If A Dalek Attacks You! does not give any details about Zavarim, only referring to him as "Martian", which may mean any number of species in the DWU, or, indeed, merely refer to a human colonist of the planet Mars. It is worth noting, however, that later, non-narrative sources established the Dalek invasion of Mars to have involved the Ice Warriors (a species which did not yet exist in the first place when What To Do If A Dalek Attacks You! was written).
