The Tuxedo was a type of jacket from Earth, generally worn in the evenings on semi-formal occasions. The Tenth Doctor had a black tuxedo which he sometimes wore. He believed it was cursed, as life-and-death situations occurred when he wore it. (DW: Voyage of the Damned)
The Tenth Doctor wore his tuxedo at Jackie Tyler's birthday, (DW: Rise of the Cybermen/The Age of Steel) the press conference at Lazarus Laboratories (DW: The Lazarus Experiment) and on the Titanic (DW: Voyage of the Damned).
The Eleventh Doctor had a white tuxedo. He wore it to a Christmas party at Frank Sinatra's house and later that evening to be married to Marilyn Monroe. (DW: A Christmas Carol) He also wore it on his first date with River Song. (Night and the Doctor: First Night/Last Night)
Behind the scenes
