- Ernest Hemingway settled in Key West. The Seventh Doctor tried to take Ace and Benny to Key West at some later moment to have drinks with "Ernie," but ended up in 1915 Haiti instead (PROSE: White Darkness).

- Angelo Colasanto was released from prison and was shocked to see Jack Harkness alive. He stabbed him, believing him to be the Devil. Eventually Jack was locked away at a butcher's shop, where more witnesses of his miraculous recovery called him the Devil and tried to kill him. Eventually, Angelo released Jack, wanting to accompany him to Los Angeles but Jack left, leaving his old life behind once more. (TV: Immortal Sins)
