1526 - The Eleventh Doctor and Amy Pond arrived in the lost city of Anglica and faced the Weeping Angels. (GAME: Angels in the Shadows)
1933 - Adolf Hitler became Führer of Germany, thanks to enhanced oratory and mass hypnosis skills bestowed upon him by the War Lords and the Timewyrm. The Doctor witnessed one of his speeches. (PROSE: Timewyrm: Exodus)
2472 - This was Jo Grant's first destination in the TARDIS. The Master tried to navigate between the three groups in Uxarieus, the humans, the Interplanetary Mining Corporation and the native Uxarieans, to gain control of the Uxariean Doomsday Weapon. He was stopped by the Third Doctor and Jo. (TV: Colony in Space, PROSE: The Face of the Enemy)

1909 - Actor Charles Morgan was born.
1918 - Actor Anthony Jacobs was born.
1928 - Writer Louis Marks was born.
1929 - Actor James Maxwell was born.
1968 - Episode two of Fury from the Deep was first broadcast on BBC1.
1968 - Part four of TV Comic story The Sabre-Toothed Gorillas was first released in issue eight hundred and forty-nine.
1974 - Episode one of The Monster of Peladon was first broadcast on BBC1.
1979 - Part eight of TV Comic story Moon Exploration was reprinted by Polystyle Publications, Ltd. as a Fourth Doctor story.
1982 - Episode two of Time-Flight was first broadcast on BBC1.
1984 - Episode two of The Twin Dilemma was first broadcast on BBC1.
1985 - Episode one of Revelation of the Daleks was first broadcast on BBC1.
1988 - Actor Reg Lye died.
2008 - Responding to criticism from his correspondent Benjamin Cook, Russell T Davies agreed to change the ending of TV: Journey's End, removing a planned cliffhanger to lead into The Next Doctor.
2008 - Earls Court exhibition Doctor Who Close Up was opened.
2009 - Recording for Big Finish audio story Paper Cuts began at The Moat Studios.
2013 - WC: The Bells of Saint John: A Prequel was first released online by the BBC. It later aired on the BBC Red Button service.
2013 - Puffin eshort The Spear of Destiny was first published by Puffin Books.
2013 - A special edition of Pointless Celebrities featuring Doctor Who actors as contestants was first broadcast on BBC1.
