The Crimean War (1853-1856) was a conflict fought between the Russian Empire and the British Empire and its allies, including France.
On 25 October 1854, a commonly known part of the War occurred called the "Charge of the Light Brigade," in which light-calvary were accidentally made to attack artillery and were killed outright.
