Femme Fatale was the eighteenth short story in the Short Trips anthology More Short Trips. It was written by Paul Magrs. It featured the Eighth Doctor and Sam.

Summary

Iris Wildthyme has recently regenerated. She is on Earth, hanging out with Andy Warhol and his crowd at the Factory. One of her friends is a writer named Valerie Solanis.

The Doctor and Sam visit this time and place. They are surprised to see Iris. They have come because Sam has always wanted to meet Andy Warhol.

Valerie, whose play has been rejected by Warhol, decides to kill him. She shoots him in the presence of Iris, the Doctor, and Sam. The Doctor tries to stop Valerie, but she manages to wound Warhol.

Sam realises that the real Valerie was in Paris trying to sell her book, and that the Valerie who shot Warhol must have been a clone.
