Lud was a creature that lived on the supposedly dead planet of Nemeqit. He wanted to find out what the old religion was. He said he loved questions. He wanted to help Bernice Summerfield fell as comfortable as she wanted. He turned out to be the son of Nemeqit. (AUDIO: A Handful of Dust)
