Thomas Reynold, or as he was later known, Tom Renault, lived in the Channel Islands. He tried to advertise cheap holidays to the islands. Because of this, he was disliked by the locals.

Becoming fed up with the locals, he planned to move to the deserted island of L'Ithe. However, he was killed by a Silurian/Sea Devil hybrid while in his boat. His boat eventually drifted back to shore and was investigated by PC Stuart Halton. His burnt body was flown back to England and buried. (PROSE: The Scales of Injustice)
