Restaurant

A restaurant was a business which prepared and served food and drink to customers in return for money, either paid before the meal, after the meal, or with an open account. Meals were generally served and eaten on premises, but many restaurants also offered take-out and food delivery services. Restaurants varied greatly in appearance and offerings.[source needed]

The Fifth Doctor, Tegan Jovanka and Vislor Turlough visited The Crystal Bucephalus. Later, stuck on the ice planet Pella Satyrnis, the Doctor created Tempus Fugit so he would eventually be retrieved by the Crystal Bucephalus. (PROSE: The Crystal Bucephalus)

Lobus Caecilius believed that "San Francisco" referred to a restaurant in Naples. (TV: The Fires of Pompeii)

The Twelfth Doctor convinced Alphonse to build a restaurant on the site of the crashed starship Harmony and Redemption. The Doctor visited this restaurant years later, and was greeted by a receptionist who gave him a balcony dinner with River Song in four year's time. The Doctor returned then and had the dinner, knowing it would be River's last. (TV: The Husbands of River Song)
