Doctor Chronicles were releases from Big Finish Productions made in a common format, each concentrating on one of the Doctors, but featuring a narrator instead of the original portrayer of the Doctor, typically supported by one additional actor.
The first anthology of the series, The Ninth Doctor Chronicles featured Nicholas Briggs providing the narration for the Ninth Doctor.
