Hungry Thirsty Roots was the eighth (ninth counting COMIC: The Lost Dimension: The Eleventh Doctor) mainstream story published in Doctor Who: The Eleventh Doctor year three.

- Alice was bullied in school by a guy named Andy. Years later he asked her out on a date.
- The Sapling's mature form in mnemomimetic, and is turn the memories of Alice and the Doctor, such as Axons, into fruit.
- A planet is created from the Doctor's memories, and he dubs it "The Doctor's World." It has buildings shaped like sonic screwdrivers and large statue of a Cybus Cybermen.
