A Time Lady took the title of Lord President, succeeding the Twelfth Doctor who had departed Gallifrey shortly after deposing and banishing Rassilon, inheriting Rassilon's gauntlet. Her reign was cut short when Rassilon returned leading an army of Cybermen which invaded Gallifrey. She was immediately slain by Rassilon using a staser, who proceeded to reclaim both his gauntlet and the title of Lord President.
