Kevin Stoney (25 July 1921-22 January 2008[1]) appeared in various Doctor Who television stories: as Mavic Chen in The Daleks' Master Plan, Tobias Vaughn in The Invasion and Tyrum in Revenge of the Cybermen.
Outside of Doctor Who, Stoney was one of the most prolific actors of 60s and 70s British TV, appearing in cult shows like Doomwatch, Ace of Wands, Space: 1999 and Blake's 7. He also had a regular role as Trent in Spy Trap (1972) and played the role of Roman astrologer Thrasyllus in both The Caesars (1968) and I, Claudius (1976).
Stoney was reported dead by a Doctor Who fanzine in 1987, but later made an appearance on stage at a convention, proving the reports of his death were false[1].
