Martin Peters was a professional football player for West Ham United alongside Geoff Hurst in 1966. He and Hurst were also members of the England football team during the 1966 World Cup final against West Germany. In the seventy-eighth minute of the final, Hurst deflected a corner-kick by Alan Ball to Peters, who scored a goal to break the 1-1 deadlock. (PROSE: Extra Time)
