The village of Tranchard's Fell had a priest in the 1650s.

He was visiting farmer Morris and his wife, when they found Varaxil brother and sister in their barn. When the farmer threatened them, they killed him, his wife, and the priest, using the WitchStar, which turned their bodies into unidentifiable grey husks.

Because of these unexplainable remains, Squire Claude Portillon invited a Witch-Pricker to the village. (AUDIO: The Witch from the Well)
