Michael Troughton (born 2 March 1955[1]) is the second son of Second Doctor actor Patrick Troughton as well as the younger brother of David Troughton and the uncle of Harry Melling. He played Albert Smithe in the 2014 Christmas special Last Christmas and appeared as himself in The Five(ish) Doctors Reboot.
He has also voiced several characters for the Big Finish Doctor Who audio stories and spin-offs.
Troughton also wrote his father's biography, Patrick Troughton: The Biography of the Second Doctor Who, which was published in 2012. He also shared his memories of his father for the audio commentary of the DVD releases of The Underwater Menace and The Ice Warriors.
