About a Girl was the sixth story of Tales of the City. This short story continued a trend running through several previous City of the Saved stories - that of a focus on Philip K. Dick's life in the City - by exploring the fate of his twin sister Jane Dick.

Notes
- A major inspiration for this story was the idea of bringing together ideas from three of Philip Purser-Hallard's previous works: the City of the Saved from Of the City of the Saved... and the versions of posthumanity seen in Peculiar Lives and Collected Works. [1]
