Do we have any idea (preferably backed up by reliable sourcing) of the identity of the actress who voices the announcer who provides some in-universe exposition as to what we’re listening to right at the beginning of the story? Sounds like it’s the same woman who does the credits, so if we know that we’ll have our woman. Could it be Kate Thomas, the producer, or Kate Webster, the director? I imagine these have small budgets and so hiring a second actress for such a small role in a series of what are normal audiobooks, not dramas, may have been considered more trouble than it worth, so if they have a female voice already in a major production role, well... the only thing is I don’t know what either of these people sound like. Or, at least, if I do [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Masked-man_fallacy I don’t know that I know]. Side note: weird how they made Tennant be the live voice of Layla too despite having an actual female voice on hand, but that’s besides the point. The point is; who IS said female voice? The recently removed note:

is interesting, but doesn't make sense: this cannot be the first audio story since Pescatons to be narrated by the Doctor, since Last of the Titans was also narrated by the Doctor.

But, maybe we could replace it with

I don't know if that's actually a true statement, though.
