Thornbury was a town in the south-west of England.
Gloucester was located to the north-east of Thornbury. Nearby towns included Frampton Cotterell to the south and Dursley to the north-east. Nearby small towns and villages included Hill to the north and Charfield to the north-east. Thornbury was located close to the M5, the nearest access point to which was junction 14, just to the north-east of the town.
