Lilly was a cashier at a shop in Stegmoor. She was in a romantic relationship with Matilda Gregson, whom she called "Matty", but had to keep their romance secret so that Matilda's mother, Phillipa Gregson, did not find out.

In 2017, Lilly and Matilda were in the village when the reservoir burst and, whilst Matilda was able to drive to safety, Lilly was swept away. She was unharmed and followed the police sergeant to the beach that night and was reunited with Matilda, whose mother gave them her blessing. (AUDIO: Beachhead)
