A Cyber-Lord was in command of a Cyber-ship which was caught in a temporal storm before crashing on Earth in the Arctic Circle. (GAME: Blood of the Cybermen)
Biography
When the Cyber-Lord's ship was caught in a temporal storm, it crashed on Earth in the Arctic Circle, and eventually froze in ice. Ten thousand years later, in 2010, a GSO Arctic Drilling Station began excavating the Cyber-ship. The ship's Cybermats spread a nanovirus through the station, infecting the workers and turning them into Cyberslaves, who continued excavating the Cyber-ship in order to reactivate the Cybermen onboard.
A partially converted Cyberslave named Elizabeth Meadows, who still retained some free will, blackmailed the Eleventh Doctor into reviving the Cybermen by threatening to convert his companion, Amy Pond. Though Meadows was successful in forcing the Doctor to comply with her demands, the newly revived Cyber-Lord immediately declared the Cyberslaves inferior to the fully-converted Cybermen and killed Meadows with his wrist blaster. He then tried to shoot the Doctor, but the Time Lord escaped. Later, when the Doctor returned to the ship's flight deck to destroy the Cybermen, the Cyber-Lord tried to kill him again, with the assistance of two other Cybermen, but was killed by a severed Cyber-arm's wrist blaster wielded by GSO worker Chisholm. (GAME: Blood of the Cybermen)
Appearance
This Cyber-Lord was identical to the Cyber-Lord who led a scavenger force of Cybermen on Earth in 1851 after they escaped the Void. (TV: The Next Doctor) However, this Cyber-Lord's chest sported the shape of its faceplate, as did the chests of the Cybermen it led. (GAME: Blood of the Cybermen)
Behind the scenes
This Cyber-Lord was never referred to as such in GAME: Blood of the Cybermen, but closely resembled the Cyber-Lord from TV: The Next Doctor, and was referred to as "Lord" by Elizabeth Meadows.
