Exodus Cyberman

From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference

By one account, the Exodus Cybermen were the Cybermen who arose on colony ships and arks launched in the mass exodus from Mondas, early in Cyber-history.

These Cybermen were "marked by their resourcefulness and determination, as they sought to survive and propagate their race in the face of their planet's impending annihilation". The Doctor allegedly encountered Exodus Cybermen on several occasions. (GAME: Worlds Apart [+]Loading...["Worlds Apart (video game)"])

Indeed, the Twelfth Doctor met his end on a Mondasian colony ship where he witnessed a version of the "genesis of the Cybermen" influenced by the Saxon Master. Originally appearing as pre-conversion patients and primitive Mondasian Cybermen, (TV: World Enough and Time [+]Loading...["World Enough and Time (TV story)"]) these Cybermen later developed further into forms matching the CyberNeomorphs, (PROSE: Alit in Underland [+]Loading...["Alit in Underland (short story)"]) Cyber Legions Cybusmen and finally weapons-grade model Cybermen. (TV: The Doctor Falls [+]Loading...["The Doctor Falls (TV story)"]) They were created as part of a smaller-scale "Operation Exodus" within the colony ship.
