The Cybermen who joined the fleet of Alien Monsters. (GAME: Doctor Who Trump Card Game [+]Loading...["Doctor Who Trump Card Game (game)"])

A group of Cybermen were part of a fleet of Alien Monsters whose threat to destroy Earth was opposed by a Legendary Legion assembled by the Fourth Doctor.

These Cybermen were recognised as "silver giants", "once humanoid in form", who had increased their lifespan and strength by replacing their flesh and blood limbs and organs with plastic and metal parts, leaving them without mercy or any feeling. An Invasion Cyberman. (TV: The Invasion [+]Loading...["The Invasion (TV story)"])

The forms of these Cybermen featured elements of (GAME: Doctor Who Trump Card Game [+]Loading...["Doctor Who Trump Card Game (game)"]) two similar but distinct subspecies of Cybermen, (PROSE: Archive - A History of the Cyber Race [+]Loading...["Archive - A History of the Cyber Race (short story)"], AUDIO: The Early Cybermen [+]Loading...["The Early Cybermen (audio story)"]) the Cybermen whose invasion of Earth in the late 20th century was defeated by the Second Doctor and the nascent UNIT, (TV: The Invasion [+]Loading...["The Invasion (TV story)"]) identified as the Early CyberFaction by the CyberHive (AUDIO: The Early Cybermen [+]Loading...["The Early Cybermen (audio story)"]) or simply the "Invasion Cybermen", (PROSE: The Monster Vault [+]Loading...["The Monster Vault (novel)"]) and the later Cybermen whose pursuit of Voga was thwarted by the Fourth Doctor, (TV: Revenge of the Cybermen [+]Loading...["Revenge of the Cybermen (TV story)"]) identified by the CyberHive as the CyberNomads. The CyberNomads. (TV: Revenge of the Cybermen [+]Loading...["Revenge of the Cybermen (TV story)"])

Indeed, it was ArcHivist Hegelia's reasoning that one part of the CyberFaction of Planet 14 broke away and became the CyberNomads, (PROSE: Killing Ground [+]Loading...["Killing Ground (novel)"]) with other historians concurring that these Cybermen were variants of the "Invasion Cybermen", who they believed followed the originally Mondasian Telosian Cybermen. (PROSE: The Monster Vault [+]Loading...["The Monster Vault (novel)"]) According to other accounts, remains of these later Cybermen had in fact been salvaged from the earlier invasion of Earth. Physically, these Cybermen (GAME: Doctor Who Trump Card Game [+]Loading...["Doctor Who Trump Card Game (game)"]) sported Cyber-guns embedded into the cranium bulge, as well as larger tubing (TV: Revenge of the Cybermen [+]Loading...["Revenge of the Cybermen (TV story)"]) which replaced the smaller side handles and exoskeletal rods of the Early CyberFaction. (TV: The Invasion [+]Loading...["The Invasion (TV story)"], AUDIO: The Early Cybermen [+]Loading...["The Early Cybermen (audio story)"]) However, these Cybermen did retain (GAME: Doctor Who Trump Card Game [+]Loading...["Doctor Who Trump Card Game (game)"]) the smaller chest units of the Early CyberFaction, as well as a vertical zip which ran from the neck down through the torso. (TV: The Invasion [+]Loading...["The Invasion (TV story)"], AUDIO: The Early Cybermen [+]Loading...["The Early Cybermen (audio story)"]) They also lacked the sleeves which linked the tubing to the arms of the CyberNomads.
