Colin Skinner was a member of LINDA, a group which met in order to discuss and share their interest in the Doctor.
Biography
Something of an intellectual, "Mr Skinner" wrote at least one novel and speculated as to the Doctor's symbolic importance. After Ursula Blake took a photograph of the Doctor on Christmas Day, Mr Skinner identified him. He played the drums when LINDA became a band.
He developed feelings for fellow member Bridget Sinclair, but she went missing, absorbed by Victor Kennedy (in reality the Abzorbaloff), the group's new leader. After attempting to leave with Ursula Blake and Elton Pope, he was tricked and absorbed by the Abzorbaloff, embedded on the left side of his belly. When he began to fight back and the Abzorbaloff was defeated by Elton, he died completely. (TV: Love & Monsters)
