Lee "Phones" Sheridan was a Lieutenant aboard the W.A.S.P. vessel Stingray. (COMIC: The Amaryll Challenge)
While lying in wait with Troy Tempest for another of the mysterious alien machines to appear in April 2065, he was interviewed by Doug Brogan for TV 21 about them and the Brazilian jungle crisis in general. He said "I can only describe the machine as looking something like a monster lobster! If it hadn't been for the strength and power of the U.S. Junglecat, I reckon we would have all had it. This time we're up against a real threat ... let's hope Stingray can come through okay." (PROSE: Stingray Hunts Aliens)
Marineville once recieved word from Phones whilst he was aboard Stingray that he was about to engage a Titan Terror Fish in combat. Commander Shore endorsed this action. (COMIC: Duel of the Daleks) When Tempest went missing on active service during his search for the kidnapped Atlanta Shore, Phones radioed Marineville to tell them that he had last been seen heading for Titanica but had heard nothing since.
