Lady Penelope using a truth drug on Count Lugosti. (COMIC: Lady Penelope)

A gaseous truth drug was employed by Penelope Creighton-Ward in 2065.

She had a booby-trapped handbag which could release a waft of truth drug when she discreetly pressed a button. The truth drug would force its target to answer questions truthfully, as well as to lose their balance and fall to the ground, helpless. Although Penelope successfully got a confession out of Count Lugosti regarding the assassination of the 610th Kaplan of Astra using her truth drug, Parker remarked that truth drug confessions were not admissible evidence in the eyes of the World Court. (COMIC: Lady Penelope)
