The temporal-freezing gateway disinhibitor bubble, dubbed the breakout ball by Jack Harkness, was a device that was able to briefly freeze time and break through walls. Jack Harkness used it to break the Thirteenth Doctor and himself out of prison. (TV: Revolution of the Daleks)
