Ranx was a planet with a warm Mediterranean type climate and a single, small, bright sun shining down through a purple and orange sky.
There were large clusters of trees with large white growths hanging off the branches and occasional small low lying bushes resembling a kind of orchard or olive grove on Earth. Tryst surveyed the planet, and stored specimens from it on the Continuous Event Transmuter. (TV: Nightmare of Eden)
