"Little Nanna" - who was also known as Gladys Magrs - was Paul Magrs' grandmother, on his father's side. Paul was very fond of her. She was married to her husband, Alf.

Little Nanna used to sing Shirley Bassey songs in men's clubs up the north-east of England in the 1970s, (PROSE: The Story of Fester Cat) dressing up in wigs, a white mini-dress and long, white, plastic boots. (PROSE: Talented Witches) Paul visited her in 1977, (PROSE: The Story of Fester Cat) and in 1979, for Christmas. (PROSE: Party Like it's 1979)
She and Paul were close, but after Paul severed contact with his father, who was against Paul beeing queer, Little Nanna refused to talk to Paul. She died in 1996, and when Paul's father told him the news over a phone call.
