Paul Scoones is a New Zealand fan of Doctor Who. He and Neil Lambess were instrumental in the recovery of the "The Lion", a missing episode of The Crusade, in January 1999. Scoones negotiated the loan of the film to the BBC so that it could be copied, and arranged for it to be couriered to the UK. He additionally received thanks for work on Ian Chesterton: An Introduction, and was interviewed on the addendum to The Missing Years on Lost in Time.
