Captain Jimmy Turner was a UNIT officer who served under Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart during the Cyberman invasion of Earth in 1975. (TV: The Invasion)


Biography

Shortly after the Cyberman invasion was defeated, Jimmy married Isobel Watkins, and was posted to Sri Lanka, (PROSE: The Scales of Injustice) where he was promoted to major. (PROSE: The Devil Goblins from Neptune)

However, according to another account, Jimmy's career in the Army was threatened and he was forced to leave Isobel when, due to the machinations of C19, she became a standing joke on Fleet Street when her claims about Earth being invaded by aliens were not believed, and her photographs of the Cybermen were dismissed as fakes.
