Sumatra was an island in the south of Asia.[1]
Geography
Sumatra was large island located to the south of Siam, in the waters off the Asian mainland. To the north-west of Sumatra was the Bay of Bengal and to the north, though guarded by a headland, was the Gulf of Siam. The island of Java was located just off the south-east of Sumatra, while the island of Borneo was located roughly to the east. (TV: Survivors of the Flux)
History

Sometime in the 15th century, the Flor de la Mar sunk off the coast of Sumatra. Years later, the treasure it was carrying, including the Keystone, was found by Captain Sin Ji-Hun. (TV: Legend of the Sea Devils)
