"Drilling machine (The Thousand Worlds)" is a title based upon conjecture.

Dalek drill ship (The Ninth Doctor vs the Cybermen)

Talk about it here.

Along with deceased Daleks, Time Lords, Mechanoids, and Cybermen, a drill-equipped vehicle lay as an example of "the waste and detritus" from the Last Great Time War in "a junkyard stretching across eternity". (NOTVALID: The Ninth Doctor vs the Cybermen)

Behind the scenes

Although the vehicle is not named, it is clearly the same model of drill ship used on the cover of Only the Monstrous. Chris Thompson confirmed this was the case after being questioned whether it was actually the Mole from the British series Thunderbirds.[1] In the trailer for Only the Monstrous, the ships were revealed to have been part of Operation Thousand Worlds.
