In-universe but non-narrative fiction, as discussed at Thread:282038. I hope that, upon the return of the forums, this will help us determine what might be newly considered valid. Some things might need individual consideration.

Although this is my own sandbox, feel free to help complete the list or rectify any errors. I do not own many of these books/sources and have had to gather information from their wiki pages, previews, summaries, reviews, and online listings, so there may be mistakes.

I have listed the following categories:

  • Presented as in-universe material, where the material is portrayed as actually existing within the DWU;
  • In-universe perspective, where there is an omniscient "narrator" stating things as fact, but not an actual narrative;
  • In-universe perspective but cites sources, same as above but facts are attributed to the story they originate from;
  • Unsure, where either the interpretation as to which above category the material should belong to is contentious, or where I know the material exists but have not yet seen enough of it to discern which category it belongs in.

Additional note: Some "features", as labelled in the annuals, are actually narrative, and so are not listed here. (e.g. Problem of the Painted Planet)

Presented as in-universe material

Miscellaneous

Doctor Who Annuals

Dalek Books

In-universe websites

These may need separate consideration as a discussion was already had at Thread:121084.

In-universe perspective

Miscellaneous

Doctor Who Annuals

Doctor Who: Battles in Time

  • TBA. These are confusing.

In-universe perspective, but cites sources

Unsure
