As the Last Great Time War continued to open fronts in what the War Doctor dubbed the "past, present, and future", turning all into "an arena of War", a battle erupted in a city. The city was laid to ruins as Dalek drones and Spider Daleks advanced through it. Exchanging fire with their enemies, Spider Daleks marched over the ruins and shattered casings during the battle. Amid the fighting, one drone's casing was destroyed and left shattered upon the ground. However, the Dalek mutant itself survived and, using the damaged casing, warned that it had witnessed someone it called "him" arise "beyond the storm" to bring death.
