Notable information[[edit] | [edit source]]
- Filmed but not included in the final edits of Journey's End was a scene where the Doctor leaves Rose Tyler a bit of TARDIS so she could grow her own.
- The name Vespiform comes from the Italian and Latin word for wasp — "vespa".
- Besides Genesis of the Daleks, Terry Nation also wrote two other Dalek origins: for TV Century 21 in 1965 they were the result of a scientist called Yarvelling's experiment, and, in 1973 in the Radio Times he told how aliens from the planet Halldon had captured primitive humans and transplanted them to the planet Ameron where they became distorted and their evolution was accelerated to become Daleks.
- The TARDIS does not appear in Genesis of the Daleks or in Midnight.
