Creighton Mere was a small village in Derbyshire, relatively close to Ickley.

The Tenth Doctor and Martha Jones once visited there in search of tea and scones with clotted cream. However, at the time of their visit in the early 21st century, the town had not yet developed any tea rooms. What they found was a town in the grip of an invasion by the Vurosis. (PROSE: Wishing Well)
