Danemouth was a small village located on the coast of Sussex. The Danemouth Pleasure Park and the Saint Anthony's children's home were located there.

Rani Chandra lived in Danemouth before moving to Ealing in London. Sam Lloyd moved to Danemouth when his mum and dad died in a car accident. At some point, Eve's Ship crashed on the beach. From that time on Eve lived with Harry Sowersby at the Danemouth Pleasure Park. Ship was repaired in 2009 and Eve, Harry and Samuel left Danemouth to go to space. (TV: The Mad Woman in the Attic)

In September 2009, Haresh and Gita Chandra stayed several days in Danemouth to visit relatives. (AUDIO: Wraith World)

Behind the scenes

  • Though no such place exists in the real world, Danemouth is a fictional town from the Agatha Christie novel The Body in the Library. In the novel, Danemouth is a seaside town located in the south-east of England, a short distance from Miss Marple's home of St. Mary Mead.
  • Danemouth was actually filmed in Barry Island, Wales, famous for being the main production base of television shows such as Gavin and Stacey and Being Human.
