Doctor Who Adventures was a magazine about the television series, Doctor Who. It usually contained stories about the Doctor, among other features.
The Doctor themself, in their Eleventh and Twelfth incarnations, frequently wrote letters to the magazine's readers, welcoming them to the issue and talking about what they could expect within its pages, as well as updating them on their recent exploits. (PROSE: Hello, Time Travellers!, Dear Readers)
History
A "special Christmas issue" was released in December 2012. (PROSE: Hello, Time Travellers!)
Another issue came with an "amazing" advent calendar, which had a monster behind every door. (PROSE: Hello There!)
At some point, the Twelfth Doctor began writing letters to the magazine's readers, the first of which was done at Clara Oswald's urging. (PROSE: Dear Readers)
An issue was released shortly after the broadcast of television episodes involving Ashildr and Zygons. (PROSE: Dear Readers)
An issue was released in December 2015. It allegedly contained serious information which could help the reader save the planet, as well as instructions on how to make an evil snowman bauble for their Christmas tree. (PROSE: Dear Readers)
An issue was released in January 2016. It gave readers the chance to relive their favourite moments from the latest series, instructions from Davros on how to make some Hand Mines, and a new adventure for the Paternoster Gang. (PROSE: Dear Readers)
An issue was released in February. It contained a story about the Twelfth Doctor's then-recent adventure to explore the legendary Spice Route. (PROSE: Dear Readers)
An issue was released just before Easter. It contained a story about the Twelfth Doctor's then-most recent adventure involving pirates, robots, ghost ships, and a future King of England. (PROSE: Dear Readers)
An issue was released in April. It contained the comic strip Shock Horror, about the Twelfth Doctor encountering zombies, instructions on page 12 on how to build a miniature Skaro model, and a story about the Paternoster Gang being tracked by a Big Game Hunter. (PROSE: Dear Readers)
An issue was released around May Day. It contained "loads of stuff", including a comic strip about the Twelfth Doctor getting involved in "all sorts of monkey business" at Eskdale Hall above New Belgravia, and a story about the Paternoster Gang entering a "terrifying world of dreams". (PROSE: Dear Readers)
An issue released in the late spring contained a comic strip story about the Twelfth Doctor's trip to the planet Eed'n, instructions from Ashildr on how to make your own version of the Mire, and a competition where the reader could win a copy of the Doctor Who Travels in Time Colouring Book. (PROSE: Dear Readers)

Another issue released in the summer contained an account of the Twelfth Doctor's then-recent adventure which he warned was not for the "faint-hearted", and a couple of pages in which Missy teaches the reader how to build their own Family of Blood scarecrow. (PROSE: Dear Readers)

Another issue was said to be lined up with "a whole galaxy of treats", including a chilling adventure story, Fear Buds, the adventures of the Paternoster Gang, Strax and his Time Shark, and a Make Your Own Time Lord Staff project. (PROSE: Dear Readers)
