Tainted Love

"Tainted Love" was a song (TV: The End of the World, Something Borrowed) by Soft Cell. (TV: The End of the World)

History

The song was played at Gwen Cooper and Rhys Williams's wedding reception in the 2000s. (TV: Something Borrowed)

In 5,000,000,000, the song was also played on an antique "iPod" (actually a jukebox) aboard Platform One shortly before the destruction of Earth. The Ninth Doctor danced to the song. (TV: The End of the World)

The Ninth Doctor reflected on "Tainted Love" as something which was "fantastic". (POEM: Shortness of Breath)

Behind the scenes

On both occasions, the song was the version performed by Soft Cell.
