It's half an hour by car from the nearest city, Gloucester (DW: The Eleventh Hour).

Behind the Scenes
Leadworth scenes are actually filmed at Llandaff in Cardiff, about 1/2 mile away from the main BBC Wales building. However, the Upper Leadworth scenes in Amy's Choice were filmed in the South East Wales village of Skenfrith. The name is an anagram of "Late Dr. Who" (or "Dr. Who Tale"), though it's unknown if this was intentional.
