Frobisher's Story was a Sixth Doctor comic strip published in Doctor Who Magazine. It was the fourth and last consecutive script about the Skeletoids, whose tale began in Kane's Story. Despite the title, Frobisher did not feature prominently, though he did serve as the narrator.

Summary

On the planet Vespin, the Sixth Doctor and his allies must put an end to the Skeletoid menace.

Plot

Characters

References

  • Frobisher takes the form of a Pantachian Rock Skipper.
  • The planet Ankara is the Federation of Worlds's political capital.
  • The President hosts the Galactic Alliance Summit.
  • Peri and Frobisher take part in repelling the Skeletoids in hand-to-hand combat.

Notes

A colour reprint. (Voyager)
  • This story was reprinted in DWCC 22 and colour reprinted in Voyager.
  • It's never clear who is responsible for uniting the six champions necessary to defeat the Skeletoids. COMIC: The Warrior's Story implies it could have been the TARDIS and previous Fifth Doctor stories present the possibility of the Time Lords, but nothing is made explicit.

Continuity

  • Abel Gantz is endowed with metamorphic powers thanks to the collision of a time vortex fragment with his laboratory in COMIC: Abel's Story.
