The Thirteenth Doctor and the Master aboard the Dalek spaceship, the Zectronic Beam Controller to their left. (TV: The Curse of Fatal Death)

In one possible future, (PROSE: The Gallifrey Chronicles) a Dalek spaceship was crewed by Daleks who had allied with the Master.

History[[edit] | [edit source]]

After the Ninth Doctor and his companion Emma were captured on Tersurus, they were taken aboard the spaceship, where chairs were provided for them. There, the Master demonstrated that his body was enhanced with Dalek technology, revealing that he had granted the Daleks the secrets of the Zectronic beam. When the Daleks admitted to the Doctor that they intended to exterminate the Master, the Doctor attempted to warn him in Tersuran only for the Master to be exposed by the Daleks. The resulting gunstick fire mortally wounded the Doctor and damaged the Zectronic Beam Controller, endangering the ship.

Regenerating, both the Tenth and the Eleventh Doctors were lost in their attempts to repair the controller before it was done by the Twelfth Doctor, who himself was gravely wounded by a discharge of pure Zectronic energy. In recognition of the Doctor's actions, both the Master and the Daleks present openly renounced their evil ways. To the Master's amazement, the Doctor regenerated into a female thirteenth incarnation. Though this development led Emma to cancel her upcoming wedding to the Doctor, the newly regenerated Doctor and the Master found that they were attracted to one another. (TV: The Curse of Fatal Death)
