BBC Radio Wales, (PROSE: Pack Animals) colloquially known as Radio Wales, (PROSE: Almost Perfect) was a Welsh radio station affiliated with the BBC.
David Brigstocke worked as a journalist for Radio Wales. (PROSE: Pack Animals) While on air, he once referred to a ferry crash, which Ianto Jones stated was "by all accounts, more of a ferry prang", as "a major maritime disaster". (PROSE: Almost Perfect)

BBC Radio Wales is BBC Cymru Wales's national English language radio station.
On 19 November 2006, it broadcast the Children in Need concert Doctor Who: A Celebration.
On 19 January 2009, it broadcast the documentary Torchwood: All Access.
On 25 December 2010, it broadcast The Terry Nation Story immediately following the BBC One Christmas Day premiere of A Christmas Carol.
