However, her career in the 21st century has mainly focused on directing over two hundred episodes of ''Coronation Street''.

Kay Patrick (born 2 September 1941[1]) appeared in two Doctor Who television stories: as Poppaea in The Romans and Flower in The Savages.

She shared her memories of The Romans on the documentary What has "The Romans" ever done for us?. She was due to contribute to the story's audio commentary, but was unable to attend due to filming commitments on Coronation Street. (DCOM: The Romans)
