Bledoe was a small Cornish village. It was the birthplace of James and Alistair Gordon Lethbridge-Stewart, as well as Owain Vine. (PROSE: The Forgotten Son)
In 1945, after Gordon Conall Lethbridge-Stewart was declared missing in action, a memorial service was held in Bledoe, attended by members of the Lethbridge-Stewart family. (PROSE: The Note)
On Saturday 7 January 2012, Alistair Gordon Lethbridge-Stewart's funeral was held in Bledoe. (PROSE: Lucy Wilson and the Bledoe Cadets) It was attended by all incarnations of the Doctor, (PROSE: The Gift) as well as John Benton, Liz Shaw, Mike Yates and Jo Grant. (PROSE: Shroud of Sorrow)
