Catch was a game which involved at least two players and a ball. According to the Toymaker, catch was the first game humanity ever created when a human from the Stone Age used a stone to kill a man by throwing it at him.
In London, 2023 at UNIT headquarters, the Fourteenth and Fifteenth Doctors selected catch as the game they wished to play against the Toymaker in their final game as the best of three match. Accepting the challenge, the Toymaker conjured a ball for them to play the game with. After several throws, the Fifteenth Doctor tossed the ball so well that the Toymaker failed to catch it.
