Albert Scarrity owned and ran a carnival freak show in 19th century England, he styled himself Umberto Ravelli when presenting to the public.
Biography[[edit] | [edit source]]
Albert was married to Miriam Scarrity and had three children, Jenny, Dorothy and Barty Scarrity. Jenny, in particular, disproved of Albert's chosen profession and the way he badly treated his acts. Eventually Jenny ran away from the carnival and soon afterwards Albert's 5 year old son, Barty, also disappeared.
Following Barty's intervention, Madame Vastra briefly became pat of his exhibitions. (AUDIO: Family Matters)
