Terror of the Titans was a 21 comic printed in TV Century 21 in 1968.

It featured an appearance from Unity City, first introduced in The Daleks story Duel of the Daleks, thus constituting a crossover with the Doctor Who universe.

Worldbuilding

• Twenty One has been victorious against the Titans already, with Agent 54 commenting that he has proved his worth on "the Titan business".
• Twenty One states to the World President his belief that the Titans' master is the most dangerous man in the Solar Empire.
• Fireball XL2 uses long-range missiles to destroy the Bereznik/Titan base on P187.
• A war council is held on the World Aquanaut Security Patrol's latest warship. The World Navy vessel W.N.13. also attends.
• Twenty One notes "the world is sitting on the edge of a volcano" and later that the operation in Katania could cause a world war if the high-standing Bereznik officials refuse to co-operate.
• The heartbeats of Titans do not increase with exercise.
• Twenty One and the other officials retrieve rocket launchers, mortars and auto-controllers from the armoury.
• The corridors leading to the treasure vaults have air conditioning which can quickly clear away dust and smoke.
• Twenty One tells Lipatov he took away both the Titans' common sense and his own when he gained control of the robots.

Story notes

• This story marked the first 21 comic with DWU elements published since the series title reverted from Mr. Magnet back to its old name of Secret Agent 21. Full Circle had seen the title character lose his magnetic abitlities and offered the job of head of the Universal Secret Service, with Back in the USS confirming in its first part that Twenty One had accepted the position.
• As well as being a crossover with the Doctor Who universe , this story also crossed over with Fireball XL5 by featuring cameos from Space City, Fireball XL2 and Commander Zero, and with Stingray through Commander Shore.

Continuity

• Twenty One is once again the Director of the Universal Secret Service, having previously served in the post from 2055 until his retirement. (PROSE: This is 2065, Biography — 21)
• Bereznik has fed its citizens anti-World Government propaganda for years, which Valin thinks will be a slow process to undo. (COMIC: Andromeda Or Die, The Bitter Cold Dish et al.)
