John Ringham (10 February 1928-20 October 2008[1]) appeared in several Doctor Who television stories: Tlotoxl in The Aztecs, Josiah Blake in The Smugglers and Robert Ashe in Colony in Space.

He also reprised his role of Tlotoxl, albeit in voice form only, for the animated guide Making Cocoa and was interviewed in the documentary Remembering The Aztecs — both of which are featured on the DVD release of The Aztecs.
